NEUROGENIC OPHTHALMOPATHIES

There were analyzed causes of development of neurogenic ophthalmopathies in 450 patients. Eye movements disturbances were revealed in 168 (36.4 %) patients with vascular pathology, tumors of the brain and orbit — in 144 (32 %), craniocerebral traumas — in 97 (21.6 %), diabetes mellitus — in 32 (7.1 %) and inflammatory affections of the nervous system were in 9 (2 %).
