EFFECTIVENESS OF TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH MYOPIA OF THE MODERATE DEGREE IN DIFFERENT AGE GROUPS WITH PHOSPHENELECTROSTIMULATION AND LASER STIMULATION

There was studied the effectiveness of the combined method of treatment of patients with uncomplicated form of myopia of the moderate degree in different age groups by applying the combination of the low-intensity emission of the semiconductor laser and phosphenelectrostimulation. The treatment was given to 37 patients (56 eyes) with the acquired uncomplicated short sightedness of the moderate degree at the age from 6 to 37.
It is revealed that the course of the combined treatment had a positive effect on the indices of the resolution of the visual analyzer — an increase in the visual acuity in the group of school age — by 0.21 (80 %), in the mature age — by 0.03 (34 %) as well as decrease of the forces of the optic correction in the school age by 0.46 diopters (11.4 %) and in the mature one — by 0.18 diopters (5 %); an increase in the reserves for accommodation — by 110.7 % (from 2.8 to 5.9 diopters), photopic light sensitivity by 0.3 log.units (17 %), activities of the foveal cortical afferent system — by 0.68 cond.units (11 %) in all groups, increases in volumetric hyperemia by 9.8 % by the RQ index (from 3.21 to 3.56 %).
