PECULIARITIES OF OCULAR ADNEXA LESIONS IN THE CAR ACCIDENTS

The characteristic of ocular adnexa lesions in 187 patients occurred in car accidents is presented in the work. There have been detected the peculiarities of such type of the injury and conditions under which they arise. It was found that 88 % of ocular adnexa traumas in car accidents had the polytrauma character. For injuries associated with the fall-out of the driver and a passenger from the vehicle, an opened injury of the ocular adnexa was typical. Contu¬sions occurred in traumas by airbags. In traumas related to vehicle collision with a pedestrian there were naturally contused dirty wounds with tissue defects and impregnation of foreign bodies.
