Диференційна діагностика болю в оці та періорбітальній ділянці – міждисциплінарний погляд

Очний біль (офтальмалгія) –  проблема, яка входить в коло інтересів різних спеціалістів. Існують офтальмологічні та не офтальмологічні причини офтальмалгій. Серед офтальмологічних причин превалюють глаукома, запальні захворювання ока (кератити, склерити, неврити), захворювання орбіти. Серед не офтальмологічних причин варто виділити невралгію трійчастого нерву, головні болі різних типів, інтракраніальні судинні ураження, запальні захворювання лор-органів. Важливим є міждисциплінарний підхід, з залученням у діагностичний та лікувальний процес офтальмологів, нейроофтальмологів, неврологів, нейрохірургів, отоневрологів та інших спеціалістів.
